Bubble Shooter Refactor: Glass Energy Nodes & Particle Physics
Refactored Bubble Shooter gameplay interface with 3D glowing energy spheres, a rotating turret nozzle, popped neon spark particle VFX, and gravity drop physics for orphaned nodes.
3D Glossy Energy Spheres
Our visual updates for Bubble Shooter completely transform how grid nodes behave. Instead of simple flat-colored circles, we redesigned all bubble blocks as 3D glowing energy spheres. By leveraging canvas radial gradients with specular glare highlights and thin concentric electronic cores, the grid nodes look like tangible glass power nodes.
Rotating Mechanical Nozzles & Warning Lasers
The cannon launcher base was redesigned with a slate-grey structural bracket, housing a rotating metallic barrel. The barrel is wrapped in glowing cyan laser coils that align dynamically with mouse or touch movements. We also drew a pulsing red warning laser dashed line at the bottom-most grid row, warning players as overload thresholds approach.
Exploding Neon Particles & Gravity Drop Physics
To heighten visual feedback, we added two new physics loops. When bubble clusters pop, a particle engine spawns 12 neon spark fragments that eject outward and decelerate under friction. Furthermore, any orphaned bubbles unattached from the ceiling now fall down under gravity and fade away, rather than disappearing instantly.
